Emma is at Manchester Academy 1 to speak to fans of Jessie J about the singer-songwriter, her debut album and her performance here tonight.
WinkBall citizen video reporters were at Manchester Academy 1 on Monday 4th April for Jessie J. The 23-year old singer-songwriter from London has had a sensational few months - winning BBC's Sound of 2011, debut single 'Do It Like A Dude' charting at number 2, likewise with album 'Who You Are'. Second single 'Price Tag' went one better by topping the charts, but her song-writing talents had already been showcased by penning tracks for the likes of Miley Cyrus and Chris Brown. On the day of her headline performance at Manchester Academy 1, her album went platinum and WinkBall reporters were there to soak up the excitement from her fans. Some of them had been camped outside the venue since 8am! A very influential and inspiring young lady has had a massive effect in such a short space of time.
