The L’Italia festival, celebrating the very essence of all-things Italian, was held in the Montecasino Piazza from 16-19 June 2011. This four day festival promised and delivered a good day out for the family with Italian fashion shows, the famous Italian Flag Throwers from Asti performing with a Medieval musical band, live chess games, craftsmen from Italy, Italian food and wine market. L’italia in Piazza provided a broader perspective of Italy as a vibrant economy whilst giving a unique insight to all things truly Italian.
