The final day of Sunderland’s premiere music event was yesterday with Split festival coming to a close on Sunday the 18/09/11. Closing the festival today included the likes of Hyde and Beast, The Ganglians, Frankie and The Heartstrings and the Charlatans. Winkball reporters were at the Split festival talking to revellers and musicians alike about what they have loved most about one of the northeast’s most successful festivals. We even managed to get a quick word with Frankie from Frankie and the Heartstrings.
