Great Britain has enjoyed strong sucess in Equestrian events with British competitors finding great success in many European and World Championships, and of course in the Olympic games. British royalty have also shown an interest in the sport with Princess Anne competing for the British eventing team and winning gold at the 1971 European Championships.
