Tara has come down to the NME Awards at the 02 Brixton Academy. She will be asking fans who they would like to see, who they would like to win an award, the highlights of the show and who they would like to see win some awards next year.
On Wednesday 23rd February 2011, WinkBall citizen video reporters Tara and Onyenka went down to the NME Awards at the 02 Brixton Academy. The NME is an annual music awards show in the United Kingdom, founded by the music magazine, NME (New Musical Express).The first awards show was held in 1953 as the NME Poll Winners Concerts, shortly after the founding of the magazine. The NME award this year invited artists such as My Chemical Romance, Juliette Lewis, Dave Brohi, The Vaccines, Lily Allen and many more. There were some great performances from the Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance and The Hurts.
