The popular stand up comedian has gained notoriety within the comedy circuit for his off the wall performances and manic energy and seen his career go from strength to strength with numerous appearances on top rated British comedy shows the likes of Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 cats and Have I got news for you. Since his meteoric rise in the comedy world, Michael McIntyre has compered a number of comedy shows around the UK that have showcased the cream of British comedic talent. His latest, Michael McIntyre’s Christmas Charity Show was in aid of The Kid’s Company, a charity that works with vulnerable children and young people. Hosting an array of comedy legends old and new such as Jo Brand, Sean Lock, Kevin Bridges and Jack Dee, the show was certain to be a comedy smash that promised some first rate quality comedy entertainment.
