The age of gaming consoles and video games has quite a history behind it. We remember the SNES, the Sega Mega Drive, the N64 and the PS1, while nowadays gamers enjoy the reign of the Xbox 360, the PS3 and the Wii, but there are certain trends from that history that have prevailed beyond the lifespan of the console for which it was created. This was proved on Friday 18th November 2011, outside GAME on Oxford Street, as gaming fans queued in anticipation for the release of the latest takes on the timeless classics they grew up on. Many turned up in costumes from The Legend of Zelda, while others just wanted to get their hands on the games and their money in the tills for the beginning of their next virtual adventure.
