The Northwest’s critically acclaimed Elbow hit Liverpool on Sunday 20th March 2011 for their gig at The Echo Arena, as part of their Arena Tour. With a back-catalogue stretching back to 2001 and the legend that is The Velvet Underground’s John Cale selecting Elbow’s ‘Switching Off’ as one of his Desert Island Disc’s, the fans are in for a treat. Awards to date include – a Brit, Ivor Novello, Mercury Music Prize, South Bank Show Pop Award, NME Award and Mojo Magazine Song of the Year in 2009. They have just released their new album ‘Build a Rocket Boys’ which has debuted at Number 2 in the UK’s Album Chart. WinkBall citizen video reporters are down at the prestigious setting of The Albert Dock, to speak to their fans about tonight’s performance and their love for all things Elbow.
