Vauxhall Middlesex Charity Sevens - Rugby at Twickenham Stadium: Morning & Afternoon

Event Date: 09/07/2011

On Saturday, 9th July 2011 sixteen of England’s top sevens teams competed for the Russell Cargill Cup and prize money in the Vauxhall Middlesex Charity Sevens. The line up included defending champions Samurai and special guests Brazil, who host the first Olympic Rugby Sevens tournament at Rio 2016. Known for its fast paced action and off the pitch attractions the event supports both the Wooden Spoon charity and the RFU's Injured Players Fund. WinkBall citizen video reporters Carla, Josh, Lucy, Siobhan and Tom were on hand to capture the passion of the public attending the Vauxhall Middlesex Charity Sevens tournament at Twickenham and collect goodwill messages for the England Rugby Team (and any other teams they might be supporting) out in New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup. If YOU would like to send a goodwill message to the England team please record a reply to this wall on WinkBall.com!
