Sofia is at Southbank for this year’s Vintage Fashion Fair. She will be finding out from the public their favourite fashion era and also ask them to describe what they are wearing.
This year’s Vintage fashion fair is taking place at Southbank from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July. It promises be a vibrant three-day affair, celebrating 1920s through to 1980s era in a grand style. The surge in vintage clothes can some how be attributed to the awareness and acceptance of the fashion style from celebrities such as Julia Roberts, Kate Moss, Dita von Teese wearing such clothes. Vintages clothes are elegant, classic, ‘individualistic’ or unique and symbolic of a by gone era. Activities at the fair include vintage food, music, fashion, film, art, design, cocktails and 250 sellers at the Vintage Marketplace.
