Event Date: 01/06/2011

On Saturday, 28th May 2011, Birmingham was alive with the sound of music and the colours of the world as Birmingham PRIDE 2011 opened with a bang. Birmingham Pride is a weekend long LGBT festival held annually in the Gay Village on Hurst Street, Birmingham,It is uniquely the largest FREE LGBT two day festival in the UK - and features a Carnival Parade through the city centre as well as floats, music and much more. The 2011 theme was ‘One World - One Love - One Community' bringing together all the celebratory elements of the festival for all to enjoy. The theme was all about the friendly welcome the LGBT community prides itself on - no matter who or where you come from. The festival was a welcoming place to come and celebrate the LGBT community - whether you're gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight. Our WinkBall video reporters mingled with the crowds on the day and recorded their views on this amazing and colourful event held right in the centre of Birmingham. Were you there? Or do you have a view on the days events? Then why not record them to this video wall?.
