Legendary frontman Jack White’s musical career began in a stranger way than most. Rather than taking the usual frontman path, White began playing drums at the age of six (well, it worked for Dave Grohl didn’t it!) However, when he formed a band with a drummer, the extremely talented White became a multi-instrumentalist taking up the guitar. Despite recording two albums prior to 2001, The White Stripes never earned the mass critical and commercial success they warranted. This was until they burst onto the UK music scene with “Seven Nation Army”. The single hit number seven in the UK charts and earned The White Stripes huge critical acclaim. While on a break with The White Stripes, White formed The Raconteurs. White was the inspiration behind their first, and most successful, song “Steady as She Goes”. The band recorded two albums together, of which the second received a Grammy nomination. Since the early 21st Century, White has played an active role in the music industry as a solo artist. His biggest solo break came in 2008, when he featured alongside Alicia Keys in “Another Way to Die” the title song for Quantum of Solace, Daniel Craig’s second Bond film. Providing the perfect launch pad for his solo career, White featured in a series of different tracks. White released his first solo album “Blunderbuss” on April 23rd 2012, which included the debut single “Love Interruption”.
