Isabella says she likes ballet because she does ballet. She says she enjoyed seeing the ballerinas do all their moves and this is her first ballet.
It was South Africa’s turn to welcome a galaxy of visiting ballet stars for the International Ballet Gala, at the Teatro in Montecasino, Johannesburg on 9 July 2011. This was the first time ballet was seen on the Teatro stage, and was an exquisite first time it was! Excited ballet enthusiasts could see the incredible talents of Alys Shee (Canada), Brooklyn Mack (USA), Elza Leimane (Latvia) as well as Johannesburg-born Andile Ndlovu. The event had audiences cheering the ballet stars as they set the stage alight with dancing, both sophisticated and powerful.
