Ben thought that the production was great. It is great to work with this company and he has really enjoyed himself so far. He can't wait to do a few more Schiller's productions.

Luise Miller at the Donmar Warehouse

Event Date: 30/07/2011

The Donmar Warehouse has been triumphantly hosting Schiller's masterpiece throughout the month of July much to the joy of the cultured stage enthusiasts of London. Luise Miller is a powerful, political drama that explores the conflict between honour and corruption and between truth and betrayal. Ferdinand is born to ancient nobility and heir of the most powerful German statesman in the land. However, despite his fortune he is willing to forsake it for the love of one woman, Luise. Granddaughter of a humble musician, the eponymous Luise from a temporal perspective has little to offer but her love. In a world of cloak and dagger, lies and greed where absolute power rules absolutely their own agencies are brought into question as they strive for a liberty that is virtually beyond their control. WinkBall citizen video reporters Fred, Karen and Lauren were at the Donmar Warehouse on Friday 29th July to capture the passion of those in attendance.
