Judas Priest fans

There's few bands in the world of heavy metal as legendary as Judas Priest. After 40+ years and 50 million albums sold, the rock titans have bid farewell to their army of devotees with a two year-long global jaunt - the Epitaph World Tour. Formed in Birmingham in 1969 and influenced by Black Sabbath, Priest sparked a metal revival in the 80s, tearing an indelible hole in heavy rock music and influencing countless future acts, such as American thrash metal band Slayer. Priest’s status at Metal Gods has remained undiminished, and neither has singer Rob Halford’s powerful scream. As the band took their last bow at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday, 26th May 2012, WinkBall joined the moshers and metalheads to find out why Judas Priest have inspired such incredible devotion to the very end.
