All Time Low at Hammersmith Apollo

All Time Low at Hammersmith Apollo

Plenty of pop-punk fans were lined up for a live performance and punked-up shenanigans from All Time Low at the Hammersmith Apollo on February 3rd. Despite the fact lead singer, Alex Gasgarth’s voice is failing – the poor lamb has got a respiratory infection, or something similar that is stealing his voice away from his adoring fans. So London attendees were braced for an ultimate All Time Low karaoke, to help Alex and the band along with completing their songs. Already a mainstay on the American pop-punk scene, the Maryland quadruplet have cemented their name in the UK – especially since the release of their third album ‘Nothing Personal’ in 2009, which got much more UK airplay than the previous two studio albums. It was far easier to get Lost In Stereo with the new tracks – as some of the most popular classic (if you can deem 2004 as classic) All Time Low tunes came from their EP’s like ‘Put Up Or Shut Up’. Strongly influenced by Blink 182 and Green Day, whom they originally performed covers of, the All Time Low boys now claim their own similarly fervent fan base for their fast-paced and fun pop-punk performances. Their inescapable hooks and smart lyricism make them a popular pop-punk choice. They secured the title of Best Live Act at this year’s Kerrang Awards, thanks to their energetic and passionate performances – quite an accolade. So Come One, Come All to see the Baltimore boys live! Their most recent, fourth, album ‘Dirty Work’ was their first release with new major label Interscope – in June. So plenty of time for their super fans to practice their singing! And also, should they wish, their One Two Step, if they are not too busy moshing. To ensure your memories of the gig don’t Fade Like Photographs, make sure you share your video!
