Sunday, 1st April 2012, saw American, pop, punk band Bowling for Soup in Camden town rocking one of London's coolest venues, KOKO. As always, WinkBall video reporters were there to give fans a platform to share their views on the band's performance. The night proved that the alternative rock group from Texas, who formed in 1994 from the remnants of an old metal band, are still very much adored by Brits today. Their lineup is made up of lead singer and guitarist, Jaret Reddick, guitarist and vocals, Chris Burney, Bass and vocals, Erik Chandler and drummer, Gary Wiseman. Best known for their single ‘Girl All The Bad Guys Want,’ from the 2002 album ‘Drunk Enough To Dance,' the boys haven't done bad, with a nomination in 2003 for ‘Best Pop Performance by a Group or Duo.' Fans at KOKO looked forward to hits ‘Punk Pock 101,' ‘High School Never Ends,' ‘I Melt With You,' and ‘A Great Day.' Check out our video wall to see why they love them, namely because they make ‘happy music,’ write 'hilarious lyrics' and use 'upbeat guitar riffs' all of which, are of course, combined with the distinctive voice of Jaret Reddick. Lots of reasons to like them then?
