UK beatboxing champion Beardyman kick started his “Where Are You Taking Me” Tour at the Electric Ballroom in Camden on Wednesday, 8th March 2011. Beardy fans were given the chance to take the show in any direction they wish using the power of Twitter, Facebook and text messages to interact with him in real time on stage. Messages were aggregated live on the giant screen behind him in true off the cuff style. Six months ago, in response to the constant barrage of demand, Beardy told his fans to start a Facebook group if they wanted him to play in their city, which has resulted in huge gig bookings from Lithuania to Leicester. He won best MC at the Breakspoll awards for developing a mind-blowing live dance music production system, which he takes to the stage all over the world. Fans are treated to a rollercoaster ride through amazing classic tunes, improvised songs and covers using only his mouth. WinkBall video reporters were at his London show to find out what fans love about both beatboxing and Beardy.
